“Most amazing time ever!”

Every part of this trip was amazing. We went from July 23nd till the 30th. I went with my 9 year old son, my 18 year old brother and my best friend. We all had the greatest time. This trip is for all ages. My son and I are afraid of heights but felt 100% safe during everything including the zip lining. During the tubing the river was a little higher and faster than usual and the guides at adventure tours were worries it may be to much for my son. I let our tour guide, Hairo, know that he is a great swimmer and has been river rafting before. Hairo was so great, he stayed with my son the whole way down the river which was so wonderful because the tubing ended up being my sons favorite part! All of the guides, Hairo, Serjio and Henry were amazing. Very informative and full of knowledge! Henry was a great driver and we always felt safe. All of the places we stayed at were amazing. I wish we had an extra night in Monteverde. I loved it there. The last part of the trip was amazing as well at Playa Villas Samara right on the beach. The town was a 2 mile walk on the beach or a $6 cab ride, but I recommend walking in at least once. We also walked to Carrillo beach which was a 10 minute walk from the resort. It was beautiful! This entire trip was amazing. The guides, the places, the people in our tour group, the food and all the experiences! We will never forget this trip and we will def. be back soon! In fact I loved it so much I’ve even been researching places to live there! This trip was worth every penny! PURA VIDA!

“Fun and adventure”

We recently came back from the Monkey Tour. It was fantastic! The guides were ever so nice and made sure we all had the time of our lives. The zip line was gorgeous, the tubing a fantastic rice, and we saw the most beautiful scenery. I would highly recommend this to anyone wanting a great adventure!   Visited October 2013

“Amazing Trip, would do it over and over again”

Monkey Tours exceeded my expectations time and time again. Rather than finding cheap local hotels to stuff us in, every hotel was luxurious and beautiful (especially the Hotel El Establo). The tour guides took us on lots of incredible adventures, the kind that make you shake your head and wonder if you’re dreaming. They also balanced this out with downtime in accordance with how strenuous the activities were. With friends or a significant other, go on this tour and you will have the trip of a lifetime.

“Wonderful people, beautiful country”

My sister and I had an amazing time with Monkey Tours! The guides and drivers were awesome!! The tour guides are very knowledgeable, helpful and seemed almost as excited as us to see all that adventure has to offer!

The booking was a little confusing at first, but we were able to book our trip for the days we needed. Our group was a little too big, but I guess it was because the Monkey Tours crew was very accommodating!

Karina was incredibly helpful in shifting around some hotel reservations for us, thereby waving any cancellation fees.

The 8-day adventure package is filled with so many fantastic activities, great hotels and good food. I’d love it if they were able to expand this tour for a week longer to include parts of the south and the volcano, with more activities to be able to see more of this beautiful country.

We would definitely love to go back to Costa Rica and would definitely use the Monkey Tours again!
