Punta Cocles, Costa Rica, is an area of land that juts out between the beaches of Cocles and Chiquita on the Caribbean coast in the province of Limon, Costa Rica.

The beach of Cocles extends a long expanse with a paved road which winds its way from Puerto Viejo to Manzanillo, Costa Rica. In between Puerto Viejo and Manzanillo, and at the end of Playa Cocles you will find Punta Cocles. The point of Cocles contains great views of both the ocean and the tropical forest, and the small beaches, which are like hidden gems, can be found in tiny inlets around Punta Cocles.

The pace of life on the Caribbean coast of Costa Rica is a bit slower than the rest of the country. The people are laid back, and the food is different from that which you might find in San Jose or along the Pacific coast. Other than flights, Punta Cocles can be reached by rental car, bus, private shuttle or taxi, and the place to access Cocles from is Puerto Viejo, Costa Rica.

Punta Cocles is four hours and fifty four minutes from the capital city of San Jose. It is seven hours and twenty two minutes from the Daniel Oduber Quiros International Airport in Liberia, Costa Rica, and four hours and three minutes from the Juan Santamaria International Airport in Alajuela, Costa Rica.
