Manuel Antonio National Park may be one of the smallest national parks in Costa Rica, but what it lacks in size it makes up in spades in regard to its natural beauty.

1. The Beaches

There are incredible beaches in the park, but that’s not all. There are also a number of beaches in the area including Playa Espadilla, Playa Biesanz and Playa Playitas. Even if you don’t make it to the park, which can be difficult seeing as only 600 people are admitted during the week and 800 on the weekends, you’ll want to visit at least one of the beaches in the Manuel Anonio area.
