4. Carrillo Beach

Carrillo-beach-remains-largely-undeveloped-and-I-love-that.-There-are-a-few-nice-hotels-inland-but-not-right-on-the-beach.-10-minutes-by-car-from-Samara-northern-Pacific-Costa-Rica (2) This beach is lined with palm trees, and gives its visitors the feeling that the beach came about just for their pleasure. It is known for sport fishing, and has a small local community. The beach has a great backdrop, and a number of smaller private beaches nearby.
