5. Playa Nosara
Nosara has plenty of surf schools, and is a good place for beginners to start learning the best way to catch waves. This beach attracts plenty, but there aren’t actually surf spots here. You can paddle out a little ways, and find your own space away from the crowds at neighboring Guiones. A great place to stay in the Nosara area is Villas Playa Samara, and you can easily take a boat from the resort to Nosara and back again.
