Yes they are. We would not advertise anything that would put your safety in question. In order to ensure your safety we have inspected each and every activity and systematically revise them to make sure they all comply with our standards of experience, service and safety. All of Costa Rica Monkey Tours have their ICT certification and the guides that operate them are well trained.

For each tour you will be given the proper safety equipment, which can consist of helmet, harness, life jacket or other, depending on the activity, and your guide will test the gear with you so that you feel comfortable using it and to double check that it’s functioning properly. Pay close attention to your guide’s instructions so that you know your gear and what’s expected of you during the tour.

If the weather poses any threats or you have any particular condition, such as pregnancy, hypertension, or high or low blood pressure, the guides may advise you not to do some activities or cancel them until further notice.

In order to avoid unpleasant experiences or accidents, it’s vital for you to always listen to your guide during briefings and on tours. The company is not liable for accidents due to reckless or careless behavior.
