Is the government stable?

Yes. When you read up on it a little, the first “fun fact” that’ll show up on your research is that Costa Rica has no army. It abolished its army in favor of education and healthcare in 1949! Now Costa Rica is widely considered as the most stable country in Latin America. Democracy seems to be an actual concept, as opposed to just a theory, giving way to more equality and less social class layering, more common prosperity and the development of leadership in all socio-economic stratus. Yes, Costa Rica is stable and you’ll feel it when you arrive.
