Exploring the tropical forests of Costa Rica is beautiful no matter how you decide to travel, but imagine getting to explore the cloud forest from high above the ground, traveling by beautifully designed bridges high above the treetops. The view from up above is simply breathtaking and no adventure is complete without a Skywalk Tour! This tour consists of many different bridges, and the longest of these ropes stretch out a whopping 984 feet, though they are very comfortable to walk, as the trails are constantly maintained and very flat to maintain maximum comfort ability. The tour will primarily take place high up in the canopy, which is the highest region of the forest, comprised primarily of the tops of the trees.

It has recently been discovered that the majority of Costa Rica’s nature life actually lives high up in the top, consisting of almost 90 percent and I will explain why. It turns out the Sunlight that hits the top of the trees is blocked off from hitting the ground, and so the majority of plant life grows near the top much more than the sun starved bottom. This also affects animal life as much of the Costa Rican animal life feeds up in the canopy where fruit is abundant. The walking platforms are very safe, with sturdy structures that have dual suspension, to ensure not only the greatest adventure for all visitors in Costa Rica, but also the maximum safety, comprised of many years of knowledge and experience.
