Cahuita Beach in Limon Costa Rica
The unsullied black sand granules at Cahuita Beach in Cauhita, Costa Rica are the remnants of volcanic eruptions from ages prior milled from lava in the salty brine.
Cahuita is in the eastern province of Limon, and the beach is therefore situated on the tranquil Caribbean Sea. This countryside locale has a certain ambience and vibe that can send you into a state of calm from which you may not wish to return. While in Cahuita you will have to give the local crepes a try. They are often made from locally grown bananas, strawberries and locally made chocolate.

Flights with Sansa Air and Nature Air fly to Limon, also. For the trip you will need to make sure you have some extra cash, a swimsuit, a water bottle, a camera, sandals and sun screen.
