Playa Brasilito in Guanacaste Costa Rica
Playa Brasilito in the Brasilito Bay area is another reason why the “rich coast” maintains its heritage. Brasilito Costa Rica can be categorized into the rolodex of great beaches in the Guanacaste Province.
All along the shoreline of the Pacific side of Costa Rica are a litany of great beaches where holiday seekers make their stays throughout the year in this land of plenty. Playa Brasilito has features that help to set it apart from the long list of great places to stay here. First of all, it is in the Bahia Brasilito which has its own ecosystem that separates the characteristics of this place from others nearby.
Secondly, Brasilito Costa Rica has a wonderful little pueblo and locality from which to explore the fascinating aspects of Tico culture and life. There is a soccer pitch right on the beach, and the contiguous town is not so big or heavily trafficked. This is a simple little village which supports a native community and therefore offers a genuine experience.
Playa Brasilito has a few surf spots in its deep blue waters and near the dark grey sandy beach. This beach is not, however, known as a spot from which to look for a major wave riding adventure. The waters are a great place for swimming and snorkeling, and the restaurants along the beach are a combination of authentic Costa Rican cuisine and some international flare.
When planning your trip to Brasilito Beach in Costa Rica you’ll probably want to bring a swimsuit, sun screen, a surfboard, snorkeling equipment, a camera and some extra spending money. There are amenities in the area, but it might be difficult to find a bank nearby. Some of the area hotels include Hotel Brasilito, Cabinas Ojos Azules and Quinta Esencia.
Playa Brasilito is an hour from Daniel Oduber Quiros International Airport in Liberia, and around four hours from Juan Santamaria International Airport in Alajuela, Costa Rica. It is five and a half hours from San Jose, Costa Rica.
