This park isn’t trafficked as much as some of the other national parks of Costa Rica, and this makes it a great choice for travelers that are looking to avoid the crowds. There are trails at Juan Castro Blanco National Park, but there are no other facilities. The park is home to quetzals, tapirs, waterfalls and hot springs, and visitors of the park won’t have to fight the masses to enjoy it all.
