5. Chirripó National Park
The Chirripó National Park is multifaceted, and contains one of the more important rivers in Costa Rica: the Pacuare. The Pacuare is teeming with life, and the five ecosystems that make up the park contain a variety of species including coyotes, flycatchers, warblers, coatis, frogs, toads, quetzals and more.
