9. Salinas Bay

Salinas is included in this list for a different sect of surfer. Kite surfers and wind surfers make their way to Salinas and Lake Arenal, because the wind speeds in both places are frequently strong. So strong in fact that the Salinas Bay has been dubbed the 8th windiest place in the world.
