Parasailing adventure tours in Costa Rica
The premiere location to find a parasailing adventure tour in Costa Rica is around the waters of Manuel Antonio National Park in the Province of Puntarenas.
Where to Go
The company running parasailing out of Manuel Antonio is Aguas Azules. They take people around the waters of the small national park where the sparkling blue of the ocean is marked by green islands that pock mark the shore line. When your trip is finished, you make the beach via a jet ski.
What to Bring
Aguas azules has an exemplary safety record, and they will prepare everything for you ahead of time in terms of gear that you will need to get up in the sky. The only things that you will need will be a swimsuit, sunblock and a water bottle to stay hydrated. You won’t be able to take anything up with you, and your hands will most likely be quite busy as you soar above the sea.
Aguas Azules will provide you with plenty of pictures taken by a professional photographer, but you might bring a waterproof camera if you so desire. Pictures are delivered via email, or they can be transferred to a SanDisk.
Extra Information
¨Trips can be scheduled through the morning into the afternoon. They generally last between twenty five and thirty minutes at a time, but there is a short introduction on the beach where you will learn about safety procedures. Once you are ready to take off, you’ll take a few steps from the beach of Playa del Coco and be off into the sky.
In the same area you can find other water related tours and adventures such as jet ski tours and rentals, surf lessons, waterski and wake boarding tours and more. Aguas Azules also includes transportation to and from your hotel or rental house, and being able to swim is not necessary due to the lifejacket that you’ll be wearing.
